I don't have much to say here because it's quite simple. I dunno if this has been suggested before either but I haven't seen anything like it. But anyway, I simply suggest that bosses in normal mode drop Treasure Bags. Of course, it would exclude their Expert Mode exclusive items. But this would make it so much more convenient. It wouldn't clog up your inventory, especially when farming, and in multiplayer everyone gets their own bag of loot, like in Expert mode. That's pretty much it.

I think the problem this would bring up is that it would make you be able to bring the bag into an Expert World and open it from there, getting a free Expert reward without putting in as much effort. If they make the Expert Bag different from the Normal Bag, then I don't see why not.

Yeah, I had thought about that. They could be made separate items. The normal mode bag's name could not be rainbow rarity.

I'm not a fan of giving expert mode exclusive stuff to normal mode. The treasure bag itself is an reward for beating the boss in expert mode. You get it in a bag, multiple people get the loot, and you get an expert drop

because

you beat it in expert mode. I understand you want it as a convenience thing, but if you give treasure bags in normal mode, that's one less reason to play expert mode.

Convenience shouldn't be locked behind difficulty.

How so? He said in the suggestion that you do not get the Expert Exclusive item. The feature should be added into normal mode, especially for multiple people so that there is no conflict over who gets what drop from the boss. This becomes more apparent with bosses such as Golem or..*cough*..the Moon Lord.

And it's less clutter in the inventory after you kill a boss.

I understand that he wasn't saying to give normal players the expert drop, I was simply saying that the convenience of having it in a bag and multiple people getting the loot is your another reward for playing on expert.

Convenience locked behind difficulty is most certainly a thing. Bigger challenge = bigger reward. Whether that reward is convenience or more loot, it's your reward for playing on a harder difficulty.

Support for more convenience.

Also multiple people getting the loot should be a feature in normal. One of the reasons I want invasion bosses to have bags.

Convenience isn't exactly a reward. If we go by the textbook definition of convenience, it just simply means that it facilitates something(or to make it easier and more approachable). As such, making the game more agreeable to the ease of the player should be something that applies to all difficulties, not just for those who are looking for a challenge(in fact, it would make more sense for something "convenient" to be exclusive to an easier difficulty. But that's not the point). Therefore, we should be able to procure the Treasure Bag they drop as it would:

A) Make more sense for a convenience standpoint. It would clutter the inventory less and it would make it more organized and approachable.

B) Make life much better for multiplayer; it would allow for each player to get loot from the boss. This would reduce the arguing over loot drops and make trading a possible feat on normal mode. (ex: your Melee buddy gets a Razorblade Typhoon, while you get a Flairon as a mage. Would it not make sense for you two to be able to trade the weapons and, therefore, BOTH be rewarded by the boss?)

i.e. Challenge should be a part of the actual combat and survival mechanics, not just because of something that induces a sense of tedium.

I would support this, if it didn't also mean boss HP scaling would have to be implemented in normal mode to prevent getting ALL of their drops way too quickly...

It would be very handy to have treasure bags drop in normal mode, but perhaps it only drops a single one as there's no health scaling in normal mode, or perhaps an option to have boss health scaling in multiplayer on Normal, allowing each player to get a bag. Of course the bags should have a different item ID from the expert ones, and perhaps they could have a different name. For example "Light treasure bag" with a tooltip "Seems something is missing from this" (Referring to the lack of an expert item).
